Conference Shuttle:
Shuttles will run throughout the day between Greenbuild Conference hotels and
McCormick Place. Check the schedule in the information booth and your hotel for
more information. The shuttle drop-off/pick-up area at McCormick Place will be at
the South Building main bus drop-off area. Shuttles will also run from McCormick
Place to the evening events: Party at the Pier and the Leadership Awards
Celebration and back to the conference hotels.
GreenRide:
GreenBuild 2007 is pleased to announce that GreenRide is available FREE to attendees. GreenRide can assist attendees in sharing rides to and from the conference, to extracurricular events around the Chicago area, and to and from your hotel. Registration is quick and easy and can be done online at this website: http://www.usgbc.greenride.com. The GreenRide booth will be located near the terminal entrance of the convention center. You can register prior to the conference online, or please stop by our booth to register to do your part in reducing the carbon footprint during GreenBuild Chicago.
Last year in Denver, GreenRide reduced harmful emissions at the 2006 GreenBuild Expo through ridesharing. 532 people were GreenRiders for the GBC conference and helped the GreenBuild Conference save an estimated 12,300 vehicle miles traveled and prevent 11,200 pounds of C02 from being emitted!
