Exhibitor Publicity

Greenbuild offers exhibitors the chance to connect with hundreds of media outlets including trade press, local and national publications, and TV and radio. The show also includes an opening reception in the exhibit hall, special promotions, exhibitor presentations, and dedicated exhibit hall hours to ensure that you have numerous opportunities to connect with our attendees.

Here are some easy ways to increase your company’s visibility and outreach:

Exhibitor Presentations:

  • It is with much excitement that the U.S. Green Building Council releases this exclusive call to Greenbuild 2007 exhibitors for our Exhibitor Showcase. Greenbuild attendees rank the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge services, technologies, and products among the top benefits of attendance. In keeping with this year’s conference theme, Accelerating Green Communities, the Greenbuild Program Committee is seeking proposals for exhibitor demonstrations of new products, processes, services, or technologies that promote higher levels of building performance. For more information on how to apply please read the offical call for proposals. To apply please click here.

Display Your Press Materials in the Press Room

  • All exhibitors are welcome to display press kits and other media information in the Press Room prior to the show; USGBC recommends about 30-40 media kits per company. The press room is located within the exhibit hall and exhibitors can also drop off their media related material to the press room anytime after 4 PM on Monday, November 5, 2007.

Set up a Booth Side Briefing

  • Exhibitors are encouraged to set up booth side media briefings during the show. In addition, there is a press conference room available for more formal gathering. Please contact akatz@usgbc.org to reserve the room, which is available for no additional fee for exhibitors.

Morning Press Briefings

  • Morning press briefings will take place each morning in the press room. Please email akatz@usgbc.org if your company plans to hold any press events or activities that should be mentioned during the briefing to ensure they are on the media’s schedule. Press information will also be posted on a white board in the press room.
  • Prior to the show, exhibitors are also welcome to send any relevant press information to USGBC for inclusion in USGBC’s media outreach. Send your 50 word piece to akatz@usgbc.org before October 29, 2007.

Media Attendance

  • Hundreds of media outlets will be represented at the show. For a list of publication outlets that were represented last year, please email akatz@usgbc.org.
