When and where is the conference?

The 2007 Greenbuild International Conference & Expo will take place November 7-9 at the West Building of McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois. McCormick Place is located at 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60616.

When will the Exhibit Hall be open?

The Exhibit Hall will be open from Nov. 6-8.

 

How do I reserve a hotel room?

Greenbuild 2007 will arrange to offer discounted rates at select hotels in the Chicago area. To receive discounted rates, you must first register for Greenbuild 2007. For more information on these hotels, please visit hotel information.

Who will attend?

Greenbuild brings the entire industry together: Architects, building owners, code officials, contractors, developers, educators, engineers, facility managers, financial service providers, government agencies, green power providers, home builders, interior designers, landscape architects, nonprofit organizations, product manufacturers, schools, universities, students and urban planners will all be at the conference to share ideas and promote greener building.

 

What is the dress attire for the conference?

Dress is business casual.

 

Do you have to be a USGBC member to attend the conference?

No, anyone can attend Greenbuild 2007. However, USGBC members receive discounted rates. Learn more about becoming a USGBC member.

 

Note: New members should wait 10 business days before registering for Greenbuild to ensure the member discount on Greenbuild registration.

 

How much does it cost to attend the conference?

The cost of attending Greenbuild 2007 will vary based on whether you're a USGBC member, how many days you attend and which optional events (e.g. LEED Workshops) you choose to attend. Can I use purchase orders or vouchers to pay for the conference?

The use of purchase orders or vouchers to pay for the conference must be approved on a case by case basis.

 

Who will present at the conference? What topics are being covered?

There will be educational sessions, master speakers, keynotes, and workshops.

 

Are there discounts for full time students?

If you are currently enrolled as a full time student please visit our volunteer website for the opportunity to exchange 8 hours of volunteer time for a free conference registration.
